‘King ate’ and ‘Get it Unc,’ Torontonians are reacting to a man who’s always busting a move during their commute

Torontonians know how to have a good time, and one resident is at the head of the pack on this one.

TikTok user @captain8412, who goes by Captain, has been gaining traction for his iconic dance moves largely done in and around the TTC.

What’s interesting is that he only started making TikTok videos in July of last year, which were mostly motivational speeches about believing in yourself and tuning out the haters.

The following month he dropped his first dance video to the popular song “Drift” by Teejay.

Since then, he’s been more than consistent and has amassed a respectable following with over two million views across all videos.

One video gained over 1.5 million views back in October. Followed by another viral video with 1.2 million views in December.

But that was clearly amature hour for this seasoned dancer who reached over 6.3 million views and one million likes that same month.

The dedication is real, at the time of writing, Captain dropped another video.

And it’s safe to say people love him.

“King ate,” one user wrote.

“Get it Unc,” someone else said.

“I literally love this man so much,” another chimed in.
